1. Gerard Reveals the break up that shaped The Black Parade!
This is from Kerrang magazine: This is not something I've ever told anyone else. I had been in a long-term relationship and it fell apart during the making of The Black Parade. I'm alone right now, for the first time in 10 years. That's not something people know about me. It's really hard. I've had girlfriends since i was 17 or 18. Now I'm 29
It wasn't something that anybody did. It was a six year realtionship that ended. It was practically marriage. It was with someone who knew me before the band. Halfway through recording-literally just when I had finished tracking the vocal parts and chorus line to Famous Last Words- I realised that line ('I am not afraid to walk this world alone') was the truth. I broke up with her a week later.
I had to fly back and talk to her, move my stuff out. It was brutal.
But I've been enjoying being free and not having to make phone calls. It's a good feeling at first -but then you check into a hotel room and realise there's no one who misses you like a girlfriend misses you. I'll sit there and stare at the wall.
When we were on our last European run I would just go out at night and walk around alone, thinking, 'Well this is interesting....' "
2. Gerard appeared on Japenese radio recently and confirmed that Frank was ill due to having four wisdom teeth removed.
It is rumoured that Frank will return to the Australian tour but will not be at the NZ leg.
MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE are to embark on Japan Tour 2007 from today(11/01 Wed. at Zepp TOkyo), but due to a sudden attack of illness, the guitarist Frank Iero had to return to his home; their support guitarist will come and play instead.

My Chemical Romance have already given the new year a new name: "Tour thousand and seven."
After spending much of 2006 recording the ambitious concept album The Black Parade, MCR are dedicating
the upcoming year to the road. "We're going to try to bring the music on the record to life with a really good live show," frontman Gerard Way said. "Something special, something big."
The singer actually predicted they'd be touring "for the next two years." The band will get started January 19 in New Zealand before launching a North American headlining trek that kicks off February 22 in Manchester, New Hampshire (see "The Parade Begins: My Chemical Romance Announce U.S. Tour Dates").
Until then, MCR are finalizing the Samuel Bayer-directed video for their next single, "Famous Last Words." "It was filmed the day after we finished filming '[Welcome to] the Black Parade,' " said bassist Mikey Way. (Bayer directed that clip as well, and two members of the band sustained injuries during the shoot — see "My Chemical Romance Explain Injuries, Missed Street Scene Gig".) "It's just us in full destruction. We were out in the desert and there was a lot of fire."
"It's our first all-performance video," Gerard added. "No extras. No actors. You knew all you had to rely on was your performance." The singer described "Famous Last Words," the last track on The Black Parade, as one of the most important songs on the album. "It leaves you with a sense of redemption and hope, which the record sorely needed," he explained.
Even as My Chemical Romance look forward to their tour-heavy '07, the guys are remembering the lessons learned from 2006.
"We learned even more how to become a family and how to look out for each other in a musical sense and an emotional sense," Mickey said. "We're more brothers now that we ever thought we were."
"And we learned that taking a risk — sometimes a very large risk, even with your own livelihood — can pay off," Gerard added. "We've made the record and have been rewarded with it. You have to have faith in the people who listen to it."
